About us

Built by people who've
been through it.

We're Saahil and Sam. We started The Admit Key after paying for consulting that didn't deliver, and deciding to build something better.

Why we started

We've been on the other side of this.

Before starting The Admit Key, we paid for college consulting ourselves. Most of it felt like a ripoff.

The typical mentor is juggling so many students that they can't push any one of them very hard. Even the good ones burn through expensive daily sessions without moving the thing that actually decides admissions: your extracurriculars. The longer programs the big firms sell lean on generic webinars and advice you could find for free, and none of it did much for us.

So we built the firm we wish we'd had. We want students to get better results while spending less of their time and money, and we do it through a network of mentors who built strong extracurriculars themselves in college. They know what real work looks like because they've done it.
